Arizonans Take Note: America’s Most Famous Tax Evaders

The singer and Psychic Friend owes $2.7 million in California state taxes, according to the California Franchise Tax Board. In addition, the IRS has placed liens against her for more than $1 million in unpaid federal taxes. Warwick’s agent would make no comment.

Dick Morris:

This former Clinton advisor and Fox news analyst reportedly owes $1.5 million to the IRS and another nearly half million to the state of Connecticut. Morris reports that he has already paid nearly $3 million in back taxes and is committed to honoring his responsibilities.

Sinbad:

Comedian and actor Sinbad Adkins allegedly owes $2.1 million to the state of California, and another $400,000 to the IRS. Meanwhile, he lives in an elegant mansion that is owned by his brother. Sinbad and his publicist declined to comments on his tax troubles.

Catalina Vásquez Villalpando:

It may seem hard to believe, but the former treasurer of the United States (under the first President Bush) owes $168,000 in back taxes to the city of Washington, DC. She has already been convicted of tax evasion for hiding income while in office and served four months in prison.

O.J. Simpson:

While he now resides in Florida,the stateof California claims that the former football star and sometimes actor owes them $1.5 million. Simpson’s attorney claims that no one from the state of California has ever informed his client of the debt.
